For our challenge at Creative Craft Cottage I used an image titled How Beautiful by Ppinkydolls I chose to use pearls/gems, image, and butterfly going diagonally across my card. The background started out as a plain pink but I used my spray ink, some stenciling, and some inking on the edges to get it life.
Well anyone who knows me knows how excited I was about this theme. I love all things Gnomes, Dragons, and Fairies! I thought this fairy by Polkadoodles titled Serenity Fairy Kisses was absolutely adorable. And you can’t have fairies without a little bit of glitter. The pink flower background paper already had a touch of glitter but I added it to the image also on her wings, the flowers she is wearing, and the butterfly. To create the scallop border at the bottom I used a punch and some blue vellum.
Wow. I am so late with so many posts. I apologize! I have never been late before and here I am late on a couple of them. For Angie’s Digital Stamps I created a tag using her image Birds in a Birdbath. I just thought this image was so cute. I used clear embossing powder to add some birds to the background of the tag and some sequins for the water. Hope you enjoy.
Sorry this post is late for the challenge at Get Creative Challenges. Life just got away from me..I have been pulling extra hours at work with some of my coworkers sick. The image I used is from Sami Stamps. I just love their images and it was so hard to chose just one but I did finally pick Umbrella Love. I colored the image with copic markers. I thought the background paper was just perfect the way it was so all I did was add a little color at his feet to give the impression of him standing.
For the design team at Creative Craft Cottage I used an image titled Bugsly by Digital Delights by Loubyloo I just thought he was the cutest thing and wanted him to be the main focus on my card so I opted to create a CAS card with this image. I used a new (to me) embossing folder for the sentiment and added a little color to that. Then I just layered everything together.
At Dark ‘n’ Daring we used images by Kenny K Stamps. I used his image titled Devil Girl which is actually a Halloween stamp but I thought it worked great for Valentine’s Day also. Here is what I created….. .
I really need to get a better camera…I have been using my phone to take pictures and it does not capture all the details. The stamp of XOXO at the top has been embossed with black that I added a little glitter to. I also used some red embossing powder that already had glitter for her clothes. The rest of the image I colored with my copic markers. I hope you enjoy!
